| The Quipp APS receives bundles of
newspapers and loads them on pallets in
layers of 12 or 16 bundles. The number of layers can range from
1 through
12, depending on bundle weight. Finally, the APS wraps the pallet
and its
load in stretch wrap. All this is done in one completely seamless
automated
operation.
Special Features of the Quipp Palletizer:
- It has a considerably smaller footprint than
most of the competition,
saving valuable floor space and allowing more equipment to be
placed in a
limited area;
- It wraps the pallet load as it is built, saving
time and the need for
additional equipment; and
- It requires no slip-sheets, producing savings
on materials.
Products are smoothly metered, sorted, layered and
securely stretch wrapped
to form pallet loads, without the need of costly slip-sheets or
manual intervention.
During
the loading cycle, as layers of products are positioned and surrounded
by protective shrouds, the stretch wrapping begins and is continuous
as layers are deposited onto the pallet, insuring that the products
are encapsulated and secured during this process.
The Quipp Automatic Palletizer System comes with
two feeder lines and fast
changeover of plastic wrap rolls. Also the APS provides safety features
and material and labor savings as well as user-friendly software
that incorporates advanced diagnostic capabilities.
The
Quipp APS allows our customers to handle more products faster and
more
accurately with fewer personnel. That's efficiency and economy.
