The QUIPP Series 3602 Label Printing System consists of a unique combination of a proven and dependable printing method with the equally dependable QUIPP VIPER 3/4 Bottomwrapper. The result of this combination is the production of unusually effective and readable bundle labels which are automatically placed on the bundles as they pass through the VIPER.

A Print Engine is mounted under the carrying surface of the QUIPP Viper.

The Print Engine uses HP-based ink cartridges as the ink source in the print heads. Four are normally used in the application. They have large ink reservoirs for uninterrupted production.

The cartridges are disposable and require little operator attention. Startup is immediate and built-in Test and Purge procedures help insure no make-ready time after periods of idleness.

The Results of printing can be tailored to local requirements. The text messages can be printed in pre-selected colors, if desired. The height of the text can be printed as follow:

• Four lines of solid 3/8 inch high text each (not dot matrix)
• Two lines of solid 13/16 inch high text each
• One line of solid 1 7/8 inch high text
• A complete selection of type fonts is available - for the most demanding situation.
• Message length is widely adjustable - restricted only by a need to present text on the top of the bundle.
