The QUIPP Model 4172 BOD (Bundle Orienting Device) is designed to adjust a stream of tied bundles to the correct configuration needed by the system or component served by the BOD.

For instance, when the BOD supplies bundles to QUIPP Series 8651 Automatic Cart Loaders, bundles are presented widthwise.

When supplying bundles to the QUIPP Series 8650 Automatic Palletizers they are presented lengthwise for 12 bundle-per-layer palletizing and widthwise for 16 bundle-per-layer operation.

The BOD correctly aligns or aligns and rotates all bundles entering the unit depending upon whether bundles arrive widthwise or lengthwise and/or are misaligned as delivered to the BOD.

Bundle exit orientation is jumper selectable; however, orientation can be selected remotely if desirable. The motor drive can be locally controlled or remotely turned ON and OFF from a suitable control.
